Last but not least, the years with THE BOSS HOSS at „The Voice of Germany“ brought the artist Jan Loechel back to his own voice.
Basically for him it’s all about writing songs that work both with the acoustic guitar around the campfire and on pop radio.
"BEAT“OF THE DRUM“ spans the arc from the dream of making it as an artist and music producer, to the feeling of getting lost in show business and finally to the goal of staying relevant in the changing music industry.
The Song is inspired by the American West Coast sound of the 70s and 80s and skillfully merges with contemporary urban indie pop known by „The 1975“ or Harry Styles.
